We are getting back together for the Brown Ale tasting. Sunday August 15th @1:00. We are looking forward to the many different ways everyone finished the 500 Gallons of wort we passed out on national home brew week.

Production begun on Pro-AM 2010 "Smoked Porter"
On July 15th the winner of our 2010 Pro-AM, Ed Condon, helped brew his "Smoked Porter" recipe on our system. It is a very tasty brew and we can't wait for it to be ready sometime in August. Note: however this will only be available in kegs so keep an eye out for it in your favorite pub that serves Southern Star. And Congratulations Again to Ed!

2010 Pro-AM Winner Determined
After judging many wonderful beers, the judges have determined our 2010 Pro-AM release. It is to be a "Smoked Porter" style Brewed by Ed Condon. Congratulations Ed! Production is slated to begin mid June.
