Hecho En Conroe our take on a Mexican-style lager. We used non-GMO Texas-grown white corn grits for 20% of the mash, providing a light body and a slight corn flavor in the beer. We used a German lager yeast, German hops, and a mashing regimen similar to the traditional German style, a nod to the original German brewers who emigrated to Mexico. The nose is light noble hops and a hint of pale malt. The flavor is light and refreshing, perfect for the last month or two of the Texas summer. Try it on its own or with a lime wedge. Salud!
