Brewed with generous amounts of oats, crystal and chocolate malt with a touch of brown sugar, this is a rich, nutty English style brown ale that is the same recipe as the Brown Ale brewed at home during Dave's college years. He is super excited to have this beer again after so long. We used slightly earthy and spicy Willamette hops to round out the sweet notes in this beer, blending well with the subtle flavors of caramel, chocolate and raisins. This beer pairs well with hearty meats, root vegetables and sharp cheeses.
